She is also a certified mediator and arbitrator, and a member of several prominent legal and academic bodies, including the Ordre International des Avocats – London, the European Scientific Journal Committee, and the CEDRAC-UE arbitration panel.
Her arbitration portfolio includes high-profile cross-border cases involving state and private actors across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, including a complex dispute before the GAFTA Court in London. In parallel, Dr. Karam serves as Director of the Cybersecurity and Cybercrime Master's Program in Paris, Professor of International Law and ADR at the Lebanese University, and Legal Advisor to the Strategic Studies Directorate of the Lebanese Army. She also manages the Legal Clinic of the Lebanese University, in collaboration with the EU and Lebanese bar associations.
