Dr. Karam holds a Doctorat d’État in International Law from Panthéon-Assas University (Paris II), with highest honors and a dissertation recognized for advancing a new theory on autonomy of will in comparative legal systems. She is also a certified mediator and arbitrator, and a member of several prominent legal and academic bodies, including the Ordre International des Avocats – London, the European Scientific Journal Committee, and the CEDRAC-UE arbitration panel.

Her arbitration portfolio includes high-profile cross-border cases involving state and private actors across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, including a complex dispute before the GAFTA Court in London. She has led international ADR seminars and is a recurring speaker at global legal forums in Italy, Turkey, Georgia, and France, where she has received medals of excellence from academic and legal institutions.

At Vidya Insight, Dr. Karam oversees all operations of the ADR Section, providing tailored dispute resolution services for commercial, civil, and international legal conflicts. She leads arbitration panels, drafts procedural frameworks, and provides expert consultations on contractual disputes, treaty violations, investor-state arbitration, and cyber-dispute mechanisms.

In parallel, Dr. Karam serves as Director of the Cybersecurity and Cybercrime Master's Program in Paris, Professor of International Law and ADR at the Lebanese University, and Legal Advisor to the Strategic Studies Directorate of the Lebanese Army. She also manages the Legal Clinic of the Lebanese University, in collaboration with the EU and Lebanese bar associations.
